Early December

Sorry for the delay since the last post! Things have been pretty hectic with Thanksgiving and the Holidays fastly approaching! Katy is 11+ months now and quickly closing in on her first birthday. Her father on the other hand, just "celebrated" his 30th!

Under New Management

Hearing the complaints of countless relatives, family friends, neighbors, co-workers, friends of friends, and friends of co-workers (and many other Katy followers) the Katy Blog is under new management. Gone are the days, weeks, and sometimes months between postings... Dad is taking over the Katy Coverage!

Changes are coming. Expect more pictures and more frequent updates. My goal is to publish a new posting on Friday mornings of each week with additional postings if events (and time) allow. I also want to extend the coverage beyond just Katy so that we can keep you up to date with some of the cool things that we have been up to.

July

July has been a fun month with Katy! It's hard to believe she's almost 7 months old! She weighed in at 18 pounds at her doctors visit, and is now a master at sitting up. She is starting to figure out how to crawl (although no forward motion yet!). She is still an adventerous eater; she likes mango, broccoli, zuchinni, and even spinach! She got to meet her great grandfather this month as well; "pop pop", as he wants to be called. We got her 6 month pictures taken by our favorite photographers; stay tuned for those pictures in a few weeks!

June pictures

June was a busy month for baby Katy- she cut not one but two teeth, learned to roll onto her stomach, and is starting to sit up! We also started on solid foods- she loves sweet potato, peas, bananas, apples, pears, and even prunes (much to daddy's dismay- he's the diaper changer in our house!). She continues to be a happy, easygoing baby, and we are having so much fun with her!

Baptism Day!

What a wonderful day- my first Mother's day, and Katy's Baptism! It was so great to be with our church family, and have Katy wear the same Christening gown I wore some thirty years ago... on the same altar I was baptised on, and the same altar Dan and I were married on! Such a special day, and glad our family could share in our special day!
